what will i learn in your all inclusive fully comprehensive training class?

In the comprehensive course, you will learn the history and fundamentals of permanent cosmetics.

The popular 8 day Comprehensive Course and the 4 Day Paramedical Course is an excellent introduction to the exciting and rewarding career of permanent cosmetics. Physicians, nurses, cosmetologists travel from around SA to attend the AIIC’s basic course. This intensive information packed class includes Sterilization and Sanitation, Machine Workshop, and 5 days of hands-on training with students performing procedures on live models. Lectures cover health considerations, colour selection, colour theory, colour correction, painless techniques, starting your business, and tips from beginning technicians. Other topics include consultation basics, communication, marketing and career opportunities.

The Paramedical training covers: Paramedical applications, step-by-step instruction for areola re-pigmentation, camouflage procedures, tattoo removal, port wine, alopecia, vitiligo

DO WE GET HANDS - ON EXPERIENCE AT THE AIIC ?

In order to provide the best training experience, students receive extensive hands-on training with live models in all of our classes.

Practical experience is of UTMOST importance so that you can leave the training feeling 100% Confident and Capable!! A minimum of 3 models are to be done per procedure!!

It is impossible to build your confidence and skills in this profession without the hands on practical experience!!!

DO I NEED INSURANCE FOR MY PERMANENT MAKEUP BUSINESS ?

Yes insurance is vital in this profession, due to our strong alliances with the “ALLIANCE FOR SAFE PRACTICE” Association we are able to provide you with affordable but adequate insurance premiums!!

WHAT ARE CONSENT/INDEMNITY FORMS AND WHY DO I NEED THEM?

Consent forms insure that the technician has collected all relevant information from the client including a thorough medical history and the client has been advised of the potential risks affiliated with the procedure as well as proper aftercare of the procedures to ensure optimum results.

DO I NEED TO BE QUALIFIED IN BEAUTY THERAPY BEFORE I CAN BECOME A PERMANENT MAKEUP ARTIST ?

No, No prior qualifications are necessary to be able to attend the course!!

HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I MAKE AS A TECHNICIAN?

Incomes vary in Permanent Cosmetics and depend on your skill, experience, location and the amount of effort you put into your business. We have graduates earning R7000 a day. As the average price for a procedure is around R1500.
